Happy New Year, back to my pond hibernation now
Happy new year !! Mother nature has given us a bit of a warm spell and i have run a external 3000 gph pump in the shallow end of the pond.and had it dump out to the stream and it then dumps into the upper pond where to my amazement, i found a 4" koi swimming around. He must have been hiding under the aquablock island . The last couple days we have seen the fish come out of hiding and swim around nibbling on the rocks . a small taste of spring.
Our fish are enjoying this bit of a warm spell as well - they all come near the surface and just float in the sunshine!
Happy New Year! Spring is on the horizon.
