I was also wondering if any of you have had experience with keeping Spatterdock water lilies? I got some tubers from a friend need some advice haven't seen many articles about them. I am still a noob always looking for advice.

I wouldn't call you a noob with a pond like that. I would be happy with that in my yard! It looks better than my 1,500 gallon pond. Keep the pics coming and you are doing a great job.

Thanks, I have always wanted a pond but I never could make enough cash because Im only 14. Then I met my now best friend playing hockey and turns out his dad is Dave Kelly The Tech Guy at Aquascape Designs he appears in a lot of their vids showing off their products and stuff. So my parents got inspired into getting a pond so we bought 3 tons of boulders, a liner, filter, pump, skimmer and all that stuff and we started digging!!! We also keep the water clean by using biological filtration and bacteria NO chemicals

Your pond is beautiful! I looked at your pictures and thought "that looks like an Aquascape pond!" At 14 you have many years of pondering ahead of you!

Almost forgot I also have 3 bullhead catfish in there haven't had any problems yet
