we were on american ponders [ i think] and it is gone so you are stuck with us now . two ponds , one small about 2500 gals and 12x20 feet . one large about ?????? gallons and 100x400 feet shared with about 7 other houses with none on the long south edge . small one is about 6 years old and has savio filter and waterfall . most interesting thing with ponds is blue heron which shows up often and eats ..........''CHIPMUNKS'' ....which we have an excess of until heron helps out . oh , there is a fountain in large pond and ,fortunately , it is at the end of our driveway . . . . peace

but what happened to this poster .Then they wonder why the people don't like forums .I have run into several people on you tube that say they don't like forums because people are rude about them being newbies .Sad we all start some where .I don't know all the technical stuff involved with forums ,I only know it scares some people when you get too technical .I try to keep it simple .You don't need thousands of dollars just time and patience and a lot of common sense and love for it .

I've tried a few of the other forums and have found this one to attract the kindest, most helpful posters. Every now and again we have a few scuffles, but it all seems to work out. I love this place!

Hi 2vettes. Better late than never... WELCOME!!!!! The first thing I tell people about GPF is how nice everyone is. We have had a few "know it alls" not to mention any names over the years that would actually attack people for how stupid they are, but fortunately they are not active. Hint ......WB!
