hi all , todays progress was slow, as everything needed doing at once. So had to mitre tennons on outer wheel to except inner casement, the inner casements had to be biscuited to glue and join three timbers together, to make a 300mm board in width. Manage to get one casement , cut, shaped and attached to wheel, so tomoorrow should have more done, time willing.

how big do you think it will be .You can't really tell in pics as there is nothing to compare size too .At least I can't really see the size

Should be around 50" inches[1270mm] plus long way to ship wheel, anyway lets finish this one, before new ventures of "hand built water wheels.co.uk". this is not a web page folks.

hi everyone, today been making more boards for sides, for those following some more photos showing angles [ both tennons and casement boards same angle......so is the saw setting ,cut board [ face up] so to marry with mitre cuts, photos should show how .

photo 4 and 5 shows how not to do it [cut wrong way down] ***!!!!! so easy to get wrong when dog wants attention, still he worth it.
