Hi, im Dan From London, im 19 years old, I been working around my mums pond for the last couple of weeks or so, We had the pond for about 5 years, Ive only recently got intrested, as I bought a Koi, and a few shubunkins. Our pond has been dirty/green for a while and their is alot of thick muck at the bottom, this forum looked interesting and informative, that's why I signed up, Hopefully this site will be able to give me all the information I need to know about my pond, and bringing out the best of it.

Welcome, you might want to try and get some of the muck out of the bottom, make the pond healthier.

Definitely sluck the muck and do some partial water changes and make sure you have a good filter set up. Lots here make their own. Check out the DIY threads and ask questions :lol:
