Hi evryone,

I have a 7700 litre pond, near London, with a few Koi, Goldfish and Shubunkins. Last year I suffered with quite green water, which I know the fish don't mind, but it is nice to see them a bit more than just feeding time.

Earlier this month my original Green to Clean 12000 filter started to over flow, so I bought a new bio smart 16000 filter. As I was looking at the green to clean I realised that one of the coils was blocking the outlet pipe, problem sorted, but that was the day the new filter arrived!

I have decided this year as the pond population has increased due to a family member not wanting their fish any more to run both the 12000 filter and the 16000 filter side by side; there are now two 8000 litre pumps, one to each filter, and there is a marked improvement in the water flow.

It will be interesting to see how the Fish do this year.

Hi all as requested, I have just taken these, it looks better in the summer.

We are looking to change the top pool later in the year so the new filter is just in a temporary location.

@Guido
Never can you have too much filtration! Very nice looking pond! Love that fancy fern or palm, whatever it is!
