How do I get Water Lilies to bloom more?

My three pots of water lilies thrive yet produce few blooms. Granted they have not been fertilized in two years.

How much sunlight are they getting per day?

Those lilies do love to eat the fert and w/no fish in your pond they are prolly starving to death. Yep they need plenty of sunshine also

Only some in the morning then it is all shade. Can you recommend a better flowering plant for so much shade?

I will get fertilizer. Hope there is a stick kind so it is easy to put in the pots.

They have hard pond tabs you can just shove into the pot w/your finger. Some have used the Jobe plant stakes but someone told me they don't dissolve very well.

dollar store sticks work .cheap and easy to shove in the pots

The last ones I bought in Danville were 2 dollars and jobes ones .That was saturday

Lots of fertilizer bud,. They will love ya for it
