I was gone for a bit photographing Bald Eagles in Maryland. It was a fun trip, the Eagle numbers are done from last year but still managed a few shots. Glad this guy does not hang out by the pond

I love to watch them fly and I see them circling above our house and while out on my walks. There's a place not too far from here where they gather in the winter to fish at the river and people go there to take pix.

I used to have a house in Colorado, up in the mountains, like 8000 feet. The people across the street stocked a pond with trout, natural dirt pond. The eagles would fly down and snatch those trout right out. It was fun to watch, they would just restock the pond.
