Lots of great pics this month. Wasn't easy making a choice for just one. Congrats to EH. Love the focus of the birds and the background being washed gives a special effect that just brings the picture to life. I would also like to take the time and congratulate Gardengimp on another super photograph. against a different group of photos I would very likely pick this one as my choice. I first hand know the difficulty of even getting close enough to attempt a picture of a GBH from that range. Also to add to the difficulty of the shoot, the bird netting can be seen but the focus was on the subject and therefore the netting almost appears invisible. Most point and shoot cameras would try and focus on the netting as it's closer to the camera than the subject being photographed, again another reason the picture really deserves mentioning, as the degree of difficulty to get this picture has to be one of the most challenging of pretty much any photo I have seen since this contest started. .
