When I bought this guy we were told that he was a triple tail, but he has two tails. He’s grown a lot and seems very healthy. He now is growing a jump on his back, right behind his head. None of my other fish have this. Thoughts? 3D3F64DD-7CCA-4793-B85F-B920A53A941B.jpegFA7D4074-C473-4D5D-9EEF-9D4068EEB2FB.jpeg9EF0CCEA-2DBA-446E-B3C2-668B8BD6F571.jpeg9EF0CCEA-2DBA-446E-B3C2-668B8BD6F571.jpegFE0DD4B1-16EA-4A8B-849B-95D257A5D1D4.jpegDB68A14F-BF20-4EAD-8B8A-F4CA98B4B121.jpeg3DA03960-08BA-4A63-AA37-B21FADE2A818.jpeg

This thread is also talking about a koi with a hump. I never knew!

It seems to be. When I bought him I was only told he was a “triple tail goldfish”.
The only “fantail” goldfish I know of are fantails, Wakin, and Watonai. The body shape looks very much like a Wakin. The hump reminds me of koi. Maybe this guy is either a throwback or a Wakin/koi hybrid.

His/her lumps have grown and multiplied. Doesn't seem to bother him though. Thoughts?

Those are some pretty big lumps! I always just let my fish be if they look like they are feeling ok and still eating well. Time will tell on this fish of yours. Does not look normal tho. Might be benign tumors or could be cancer. Either way if they keep growing it will not be good for the fish in the long run IMO. Still I would leave it be and let it live it's life.
