The bees don’t bother you, they actually do t like you watching them. Lol
The native bees are easy to watch.
We go over to our hives to just watch the bees and recently every time we have, one or two have flown out and started to guard us. A few have flown over and bang................stung us. Crazy bees.

There’s roughly 20 tubes filled since I hung it up. And today I saw a few smaller bees going into tubes on the first house I put up last year.

I have 2 bee hotels up, both are being used, lots of tubes filled. The only bees I see working are little black and white striped ones about 1/2" long. They are shy and leave as soon as I approach. I got the hotels at Dollar General for $5 ea. In their little garden dept. Burd, great pics!

Was worried about the bees earlier this year...not much activity in May and June. Last two weeks they have showed up in force...all types as well. This is really great to see...had to put more tubes out vacancy was getting thin in the bee house.

I have one I have not hung up yet, sitting in our walkway, near the side door. It is getting populated. I really need to hang it up!

I made this new Bee Hotel from scrap from plastic trim from my shed, cedar from my house,
and bird feeder cedar pole. All junk, the Bees will love it Just gotta nail it up and drill some holes on the drill press.
you gotta plan now for the spring, itll be here before you know it.
