OK, so this is obviously NOT my real pond, but I was bored.... Last weekend Son & Hubby took me to see THE LEGO MOVIE for my birthday. A few days later, I remembered that Son has a ton of LEGOS's, so while he's off at college, I decided to play, LOL!

And no, I'm not really that cute, I don't have red hair (it's all I could find), none of my real cats ever goes outside, and I don't normally sip wine by the pond (but, hey, why not!).

ENJOY my LEGO battle against herons!

:bored::p:shy::cry::greedy:
ok now we may have to have you taken away in a straight jacket and put in a padded room .But we will give you your lego's as long as you don't eat them or throw them around

But hey, I chased the big bad bird away! Doesn't that count for something?

That would be up to debate here and who ever handles you case .I am guessing you will spend a few months in the padded room if you tell them that and gotta feel sorry for your poor hubby trying to explain this to people .Well my wife went pond nuts over the winter so she built a lego pond and thought it was real .Not sure after that the 2 of you will be invited to any parties
.LEGO LADY :LOL::LOL:I have changed your name

LOL! I really did have fun rummaging through ALL THOSE LEGOS, looking for just the right pieces -- and because I know what he had ['cause we bought them for him], I think Son must have some more squirreled away somewhere! And once I found what I needed, figuring out my building strategy. FYI, I was never good at the complicated stuff -- boxes and walls were about my speed.

Anyway, THE LEGO MOVIE was a lot of fun! I recommend it to any of you with kiddos who grew up playing with the "block people!" Also, I have a Nintendo DS, and my absolute favorite games are the LEGO games [STAR WARS, BAT MAN, HARRY POTTER, INDIANA JONES....], so when we first found out they were making the movie, Phillip [Son, 18] and I knew we had to see it! Lots of wonderful memories there for both of us, as Mom & Son!!

:grumpy:Oh, and it makes any of you HAPPY, I've been told by Hubby and Son that I need to take "The LEGO Pond" apart, and put all of Son's LEGO'S back where they belong! Spoil sports!:grumpy:

That's awesome! I've built a lego ponds with my Son Isaac, so don't feel too crazy. We love the lego games also! I'm playing Lego City Undercover on Wii U now and it's been a lot of fun. We also play Minecraft and Far Cry 3 Map Editor and have built a few ponds on there also. :D I have to build something to keep my mind busy in the Winter so thankfully there are video games to get the creativity out.

It's an open world lego game. Kind of like a kid friendly Grand Theft Auto but you are the good guy. I think it may be the first time there has been a lego game based on an original story instead of licensing out another brand like the Batman/Star Wars games.
