Pond is officially closed for the season

Well today was the day for the shut down. A sad day for all the birds and no more stream. I could have let it run a bit longer but with the extended forecast and my trip coming up, I decided today was the day. Amazing how quiet it becomes once the stream is shut down. I still have the air pump running. The birds can still use that. I think this year I will get a heat birdbath for them. Lets hope spring is not delayed
