My pond a year ago

Well I am glad its done, this year the weather has not been as good as last year. Today windy and rainy.

This was on 4/14/13 At the early stages, the rock is from the old smaller pond. I had to bring in many more stones. I used all the dirt to bring up the right side where the skimmer will go. My back hurts just looking at this pictures, many more hours to go from this point

it sure has come a long way!

Thats similar to how mine looks today. hard to believe a year ago all I had was a 30g pond.

Makes me want to start digging again. I would love a small pond next to the patio. I do have a pile of rock looking for a job to do, they could hold a liner in place.
