I currently had one fish, and no frogs. One of my fish died when I was cleaning it, as for I did not add "Aquasafe" It makes tap water good for the fish.

very nice, it looks like your frogs have a nice home. Mine has been here for 12 years, with minor leaks (on the waterfall of course) but I don't have lili pads anymore. I had some, but they were to thin, and the frog didn't live on them, so I removed them. But, this pond I have was built by my dad, when I was not even born yet. (Implying I am the age of 12) :) but, I was thinking about putting in rocks at the bottom (small ones) to catch fish "poo" when I put more in. do you think this is a good idea?

I would not put rocks in to catch the poo because you want to get rid of it. Rocks will make it harder to clean. Waterfalls are noterious for leaking water. It does look like a nice set up though.

Ah, alright. As I usually do, since last year I had gunk from 6 years still on the bottom, I started using a water shop vac and take everything out and vacuum it clean. and on the waterfall, the Sink up there used to be a nature filter so to say. It had sand rocks some filter median etc to filter the water. But what do you recommend I use to keep dirt and stuff from the water/floating around. because the pond is on the bottom of a hill, causing it to get dirt run off from the hill. D:

see, But I have no way of fixing it. the plastic liner has been there for 12 years, and there is thousand of pounds of rock from that waterfall ontop of it, so I cant move it in any shape or form. I wish I could move it. D:

In looking at your very nice waterfall, it occurred to me, that a natural looking retaining wall could crown the top and direct water at angles to a drain on each side that could manage the water and debries to a better place.

Use your imagination and think outside the box.

if I am understanding your point correctly, you're implying the sink I have that used to have a natural filter in it is the cause of my dirt etc? because its not that. if you go to the last picture you see the liner. and if you look at the water fall it is much higher than my pond its self. The whole pond was built on a decline from the end of the yard up to the house.

Maybe I was not clear, the highest point is the top of your waterfall.
I would build a natural looking retaining wall that will actually stop the water from running into the waterfall and direct it away to a set of drains that could have 4" flex lines that will carry the water to below the pond or to a safe place where it cannot get into the pond.

No runoff gets into the waterfall, its all at the pond base its self. im sorry, I'm having a bad time using my mind. I'm sick with a horrible cold//fever/vomiting/Algiers thing. dont know what it is. but I think I'm getting what you mean.

Welcome to the forum Zack
If you can build a small burm around the water fall and the pond .
It would let the rains go around the pond and not in it
