Seriously!

I have an 922gph Harbor Freight pump. I cleaned the fountain head (bell style) tonight as the outflow was decreasing ever so slightly. Then,I noticed little fly larvae in there, so I cleaned them out with the hose. I re-threaded the head and now the size of the bell increases and decreases randomly. It appears that the actual head is rotating and is causing this change as this has never done it before.

Time to get a new head?

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have the same exact pump, mine has turned like that from the very beginning, I use the uh... (I dont know whats its called) foam jet head? Just gushes out the top.

Anyway, I dont see why you couldn't wrap some teflon tape around the threads and screw it back on and see if that seals it up enough to stop it from wanting to spin, I thought about it with mine, and then decided to just use that other head.
