New to forum, not new to fish

Hello. My name is Duncan . I live in Lower New England. Hobbies are old motorcycles, tropical fish, gardening, and now pond fish. I have a small 600 gal pond with shubunkin and comets. Almost everything I do is homemade D.I.Y. on the cheap. Im enjoying the forum so far. Hoping to help where I can. Thanks -Duncan

Welcome and I am a fellow cheap everything also .It does not have to be expensive to build a pond .The liner and pumps are always the biggest cost you will spend .

I recently finished the big dig of my new pond. Several people told me "You know there are men who would have dug that hole for you". But it is my hobby and interest, I want to do it myself!

I did all of mine and it was hard but to much fun to remember all the dumb things I did each time .Like getting stuck under the liner when I put it in the pond .It was easier to spread the liner out by getting under it when I do it by myself .Each time I had my liner destroyed i went a little bigger

lol I dug my entire pond(s) stream, hauled all the rocks, honey was working at the time. Did have my tractor to help me.

Some of us sure do! I have dug several ponds and planted hundreds of bushes and trees. My shovels and wheelbarrows and work gloves are all very well used here.
