waterfalls are nice, both estetically and for aeration. if you dont have one planned then i would get a aerator set up...maybe a venturi on your return

oh in the second to the last pic on the first page it looks to b above the water. If it was would that b just fine or would their still b a need for a aerator.

One thing I've noticed is that the shower drain in the trash can sucks in a fair bit of air (it "sucks" a bit because of the water that goes through the bypass is under pressure and is "pulling" on the water coming through the filter) and so I get quite a few bubbles out of the return into the pond. I'll get a little video if I can.

Would it be possible to put some kind of switch on to shut it down if it overflowed? I would hate to flood my garage if there was some type of failure. Oh, nice pond by the way!
