What are the two plants underwater in pic 8? It almost looks like a fake aquarium plant.

Hey by the way do you cut your ornamental grasses down in February and then burn the rest to the ground?

Tmann...yeah..theyre artificial...but not made for aquariums...alot cheaper to buy regular ol' plastic plants and cut them to size and weigh
'em down. i cut my ornamental grasses down to about a foot in early winter..thats it.

theyre strictly there for the added "at home" feeling for the fry....... they actually do look quite realistic from outside the fry pond.

Neat idea using fake plants, not the expensive tank plants.

theyre the ones i originally bought and used in the basement pond. aquarium and pond stuff is just too expensive. hot glue them to a flat stone and theyre just as good as any fake aquarium plant. been using them for 5 years now!
