Well OK, one colder than normal winter or something ate it, I dunno! Some winters are "less harsh" than others, like last year, don't think it got colder than minus 40 below, and then it didn't go on forever like some winters we have had. I remember one winter the snow fell first week of October and never melted till end of May!!

Colleen, I think I'll let you keep all that snow. We are opposite, we hit 90 degrees by april and it stays 90 till mid November. Not uncommon to see a high temp in the 70's from Nov-April

I don't understand why anyone down there even shuts their pond down for winter... what winter!
