The weather was great today,low 57* high 79. The greenhouses were hot and steamy. Here are pics of a variety of subjects, from passionflowers to gouramis and a few lilies

Hey in that first fish picture, are those minnows? What kind of fish?

They are Paradise Gouramis. Bubble nesters that can tolerate temp down to near freezing.

Yes I am also insanely jealous, it looks fantastic.
We use to have a greenhouse with a small pond in our old place, it was a great place to sit and have a coffee when it was cold and windy outside. We were thinking to build one here at our new place, but we just don't have the room anymore.

I built the greenhouse/screenhouse about three years ago out of used cypress wood from an old lumberyard. The tropical plants love to dip their roots in the pond water.

I sure would love to have a green house like that one Mman w/ a pond inside of it! It's lovely and what a nice place to enjoy sitting or working in. Your temps are almost up to 80* right now. I'm so envious of it all sitting here now in 40* temps

I would not want warm weather all year round no time to rest and dream of spring .I guess no matter what i am a snow bird of sorts .No snow just cold enough to stop things from growing ,not a true snow bird . :razz:
