Thank you for this info Marck..it is a nice addition to my pond and great to know that it can flower! That is a nice bonus plant to have.
Water-bacopa (Bacopa monnieri) in the Plantain Family (Plantaginaceae) is an aquatic herb widespread in warm-temperate and tropical freshwater systems. It will occasionally get small white or pale pink flowers.
Note: Members of the genus Bacopa are sometimes confused with a very different terrestrial plant
commonly called Garden Bacopa (Chaenostoma cordatum, formerly Sutera cordata) in the Figwort Family (Scrophulariaceae).
Can never have too many butterflies SarahT…great bonusBest of all, it is a Florida native plant and hosts butterflies (I looked it up). Great job, Rubyduby.
