Thanks. We got all of our rocks free by picking them up on my parents' property. Saved us a ton of $ but was a ton of work. Yes the plants have finally taken off. The pickeral is growing like crazy.

I know what you mean about the free rocks. That is how I got all mine picked them up in the neighborhood. I am still hauling rocks for my rock wall I am building now.

Very nice! the free rocks here suck, all the soft shale stuff that becomes dirt when you pull it out of the ground.

Great water fall, agree with tmann love the color of the rocks., pretty lily!

Thanks everyone for the comments. @koiguy The only way to cover it would be to stack rocks in the pond and I really don't want to do that. Its actually double layered there. The liner for the pond is covered by the liner for the falls so I am hoping that will help. If you can think of any other way to cover it, I am all ears. I don't like the look of it.

There is a product called rock on a roll but I have never seen it so not sure what it would look like. The only other way to do it is to stack rock up on your shelf. Ididntdoit is a member and just recently redid his where he now has rocks stacked on a shelf that come out of the water to hide the liner. Really looks nice.

I have used rock on a roll for some of my vertical stream walls. Still have some more to take care of.

They have a gray color that would be nice with your pond. Over time it gathers some dirt and algae and looks just like a bank.

I thought about that. There isn't a shelf there so the rocks would have to be stacked from the bottom edge of the pond. Thinking back, probably should have put in a shelf but raccoons and such are a problem here and I wanted vertical walls to deter them from nabbing my babies. I also thought about manufactured stone with adhesive. We have a plant here and some seconds or something may be an option. HUMMM will have to think on that.

This is the brown

Here is the gray

It lays on the liner, I usually attach it with goop or stick under a rock

over time you can't even tell it was ever added all blends together
