There have been questions on how to hide liner, what rock on a roll looks like.
So I am just posting a few pictures.
Here it is not applied i.e. in a roll, the rough side goes out. It does have texture.
I used the pl roofing cement to hold it in place when need be, or double side tape.

This picture shows it after water has run over it since spring. It begins to look like natural rock, even when first put down it looked, to me, better than the liner.
To the left side of the picture is some rock on a roll that has not had water running over it.
