Saw the first Gerridae (pond skater) zipping across the pond yesterday.

Definitely seen water striders, I don't know about that particular type though. I get the feeling the fish love to eat them, because I don't see them often. Same with the dragonfly larva... I see some now and then, but they have to hide well to avoid becoming food.
