with no fish or sensitive wildlife, no problem taking anything out for the winter. If you have plants, i.e. water lilies and you're afraid the water might freeze down to their level, I'd leave the aerator in as it'll keep the ice from getting that thick. Same for most in-pond plants.Hey All
