would a skimmer be any good for me with me having floating plants

you could net the floating plants or as I did tie a piece of yarn around the plants loosly and a rock .,and sink the rock

these will keep your floating plants safe from your skimmer and koi..

tie them off to the side with fishing line if they start moving where you dont like... i even have a 28" rootball of water iris bare root free floating in one.

thanks for the ideas i need somet like that for my iris as its just come up out of the water and not looking too good
