These are wonderful photos!
The joke here is START building and they will all come check on your progress. We have dragonflies resting on my son's car antenna because there are no tall plants yet (or water!) We have a very pregnant deer strolling through and glancing at the project. We had a fox and a raccoon in the same week. I feel like the word is getting out.
What is the orange and black bird in the last photo? He's very striking!

Gorgeous photo's, thanks for sharing, and thank you for calling it the Baltimore oriole! (there's a movement afoot to lump it in with the Northern Oriole. Pfft. Where's the fun in that?) Did you see a nest anywhere? One of the more interesting nests there is.

I had a pair of hooded orioles here for bit..I was really excited to see them..The yellow was SO vibrant against the black...I couldn't turn the pages fast enough in my Audubon Field Guide to see what they were I am only sorry that I could not get any pics in time Love yours GB!
