Surfs up.......actually the waves weren't all that big there this time of year but still fun to watch

wow some great pics and not sure which ones I liked better the flowers the ponds or just the scenery pics and great you got to see a lot of things .Did you drink kona coffee it is the best my friend brought me some when he came over and gosh the test of it is fantaskic .Out of them all kona coffee was the best a little strong but not bitter

Waimea Falls............we swam here in this murky brown water. They test it each day for Letospriosis bacteria but thinking back prolly wasn't such a wise idea to swim anyways:

Waimea Falls (also known as Waihi Falls) drops 45 feet (13,7 m) into a pool. Swimming is allowed in the pool inbetween performances in which professional cliff divers showcase their skills. The waterfall is accessible via a short, paved trail (about one mile one way). A changing room and a lifeguard are at the pool.
CAUTION: As with all freshwater streams and waterfalls in Hawaii, Leptospirosis bacteria may be present in the water. Do not drink the water and keep water out of open wounds (including small scratches) and eyes.
