Spawning in october?

Do goldfish tend to spawn in Oct? Current UK temp is 18 degrees.
I thought that spawning took place in summer but one of my female goldfish is today being chased and bumped relentlessly
Is it breeding behaviour or could it be something else?

Many thanks @brokensword , the males have been almost relentless throughout the summer with this female. I was hoping that it was too late in the season but I guess not
New to this and feels like I might have a pond full of males + 1 female...not seen any babies though

Sometimes the eggs laid and babies hatched are just too irresistible as caviar and sushi to the adult fish
