Strange thing happened today

A 3" goldfish got stuck behind this small rock. I had to pick up the rock to release it. It went in one way and tried to come out another way.

I was going to guess spawning, too. The females go to great lengths to get away from the attention sometimes!

Not necessarily. Sometimes they need rescuing, depending on where they get themselves hung up.
