Did you notice on the first video above, at 5:30, the baby turns around to poop, and the parent removed the poop from the nest? I didn't know they did that, but always wondered how the nests were always so clean. Question answered! :)

We watched the parents fly away with many poop sacs, the baby does a butt wiggle dance, out comes a white sac the parent grabs it and flies. We had a ton of fun watching them on the camera.
I have to admit, I was too scared to watch......so relieved the babies are ok.
I was really in deep fear for them, when I found the empty nest and the first thing I saw on the recording was the snake.

Thanks for sharing. I LOVE wrens, and was so glad to see they made it away. I'll bet those babies heard, felt, or otherwise sensed that snake and that's why they left like that.
