We had them as kids all over the place because there was a canal near our home and the Raritan River was close by and guessing once hatched they are self sufficient and take care of themselves .I used to see lots of them come up out of the ground nest and just head for the water .Momma would lay the eggs in our garden and cover them and just leave .And the you would see them all explode from the ground

This was a case of get them or they would be crushed as they were laid in a very busy driveway. Friend got them out and when they hatched I agreed to take them.

Never understood the turtle mommies when I was a kid lay them and leave them to fend for them selves .We had a private road so nothing ever came down it and my father sold his food stuff he grew from the property but that was down at the edge and they always laid there eggs nearer to where the water was .

We had a lot of rain and evidently she like the new sand they had placed in the driveway.....they seem to be doing fairly well tho I am having to keep the heat lamp on them all the time. Shells seem harder today too.

I had some tiny little ones when I was a kid and those little buggers loved raw hamburger and tadpoles. Didn't mean for them to eat the tadpoles. I was young and thought they would be friends, lol!

Oh the bottom I am either going to do stucco or glue rocks on it to make it look like a stone foundation. The add on is how to get into the lighthouse and the light keepers house will be off to the side .The entrance will be on the front and still have to make windows for the light house ,Vote stucco or rock and i have some tiny shells I could add into the sides at the bottom .

Those cannas are beautiful! The one reminds me of a sunset! I'm thinking small rocks? The stones would look good with the blue. What about the stones on the webbing like you use for counter tops, etc. Can put on the goop and press it on? I don't think a square of them are very expensive. Is it going to be on a base? You could put shells on it, and glue sand? LMBO I think I'm getting carried away..

A man and a woman were sitting beside each other in the first class section of an airplane.. The woman sneezed, took out a tissue, gently wiped her nose, then visibly shuddered for ten to fifteen seconds. The man went back to his reading. A few minutes later, the woman sneezed again, took a tissue, wiped her nose, then shuddered violently once more. Assuming that the woman might have a cold, the man was still curious about the shuddering. A few more minutes passed when the woman sneezed yet again. As before, she took a tissue, wiped her nose, her body shaking even more than before. Unable to restrain his curiosity, the man turned to the woman and said, "I couldn't help but notice that you've sneezed three times, wiped your nose and then shuddered violently. Are you OK?" "I am sorry if I disturbed you, I have a very rare medical condition; whenever I sneeze I have an orgasm." The man, more than a bit embarrassed, was still curious. "I have never heard of that condition before" he said. "Are you taking anything for it?"

The woman nodded, and replied "yes i am..Pepper"!!
