Got another male turtle adopted out :D and he went to a teacher (y) who teaches 6th grade science and so Bowser will now be a classroom pet :D . The second piece of good news is I finished the final edit ( finally :coffee: 17 hours straight editing...) of the website and now have all the setup needed for the new sponsorship program. The sponsorship allows people to choose a turtle here at the sanctuary & rescue or I can choose one for them and they will pledge a twice yearly donation of $30 or more and then that particular turtle becomes their resident turtle. They will receive a picture and health update once every 2 weeks or less if preferred including videos occasionally. They can also visit the turtle here at the rescue and if they ever decide to go ahead and actually adopt the turtle they will be able to put it on hold for as long as they need to get everything setup for the turtle habitat as well as a free months supply of food and one year free veterinary care courtesy of the rescues vet Dr. Amy.
If you want to look at the site I will put a link and let me know what you think ? Thanks.
PS: on the websites habitat page under "outdoor/pond" is a link to this forum. Try it out and make sure it works so I know there are no glitches and that visitors to my site are able to get to this one okay too. ;)

PS: I forgot to mention the box turtle housing project is done so I now have space to keep 8 to 10 box turtles or other terrestrial only turtles. The area has an outdoor open air section that is 20 feet by 26 feet and an indoor area that is made up of one large 10 by 12 foot community area and 4 separated housing areas that are 3 by 5 feet each. The outdoor area can be covered and partially climate controlled if the temp is above 50 F otherwise the indoor area will be used as it can be completely climate controlled. The inside has heat + A/C, dedicated water supply, fresh air ventilation with HEPA, sun lamps, individual basking lamps and an indoor garden area that is both a play area as well as a fresh food source for the turtles. I will take images in the morning and upload them.

The site looks nice, I liked the old one too:) The pics are great, I tried the link, it didn't take me to this site just search results for pond forums. Someone may accidentally go to the 'less friendly pond forum'

Very nice! Just a note, on my phone screen, (no computer right now) the white lettering on the yellow links is a little hard to read. Might be my tired eyes too.

It was a link error. It's fixed now.

If by links you are talking about the buttons then they are gray with black letters. The yellow could be from your phone settings or signal. There are actually no links or buttons on the site that are yellow and all the lettering on them is black. Maybe try again and see if it loads correctly.

The outdoor pond link was the last one I published to my server so it may have been propagating still. Should be active now and should take you to the "Habitat" page on my site when you click it.

That was a glitch in the server. Link should be working correctly now.
