I did wonder if they could have had something to do with the frogs. I had noticed a frog sitting up there a lot right about the sme time as those started showing up. THey still have not grown or changed or started swimming or anything like that. A lot of them though I wash off my waterfall, and that fish ahd a heyday with them. Guess time will tell.....

If frog eggs, they start wiggling and hatching pretty darn quick. Usually from egg to wiggler in two days. So if they are just still sitting I doubt they from a frog.

I agree with you, Addy; my tadpoles are starting to swim around already, after only a day or so. But they sure looked like the ones Jen had in her pond. Just little black things about 1/4" long with only the slightest bulge at the upper end. :profile:

It is hard to tell but they look like attached to the bottom, my tads all hang up high in the water on the edges, around plants etc constantly moving.

I swear, mine looked just like that first picture, but they were all gone two days later. Now I have tadpoles swimming around.

Well, mine are all still attached and not swimming around and it's definitely been more then just a couple days, so must be the fly larvae.
