Hi, everybody. Tom here, from west-central Wyoming. I have sort of a "special needs" pond--a 35', 7' deep irrigation pond that has been struck with a green slime plague of near-Biblical proportions--and I'm looking for some advice on plants.

I am experienced with aquariums, but strictly a hack when it comes to ponds. Not sure how involved I'll get over here, since my pond is mostly utilitarian, not really a hobby. I just want it to be as healthy and beautiful as possible without putting a ton of work and money into it. Some really, really nice looking pond pics posted here, though. Almost makes me wish I had time to devote to landscaping it properly!

I will post my questions in the appropriate forum. See you there!
