Yippiee woodchuck babies

They are a permanent fixture here. Around our house, out in the fields. Just like rabbits they love it here, I have enough plants I usually don't even notice what they eat up.

Today we seen 4 woodchuck babies. They are cute as anything. We never had them before just the adults. Here is a shot from tonight. Please no comments about killing them, etc.

That is cool. I have a very old ground hog back by my shed, I've never seen babies, the squirrel rehabber I know does these as well, she came home one day and found her adult she released dead, it had a walnut in its wind pipe, must have choked to death. Sad. She said they are very friendly.
