A pond pearl?

DrCase, you know how fast algae grows. It would be the same as have an aquarium outside sitting in the sun. I tried that with cheap feeder gold fish, and I was having to scrub algae every few days. I'm sure the 'Koi Pearl' would be a real algae problem. Not that it might be worth it to see or view your fish like that.

I always thought about putting a bunch of sucker fish in my pond in the summer to eat all the algae. Only thing is, they'd definitely have to be taken out in the winter cause they'd die.

I have heard that frogs get trapped in it and die also. Love my frogs, so no thanks to the pearl.

Hmm... that makes sense. I guess a frog or turtle would come up for air and wouldn't get any in there. They probably wouldn't know what to do:sad:.
