In South Carolina winter may not be much of any thing ,but I always say be prepared for the worst .Mother Nature can be a witch when she wants to be .Lat winter was really scary for alot of us that were not expecting what we got .Last winter was the worst winter here in VA since I have been here (2004)First snow was early and last snow was later and frost was really bad .At least summers I can shade my pond but winter I can only get the warmth from my septic tank that is near my pond
