Me too! After 5 years in my old smaller pond being overtaken by the potted pink ones, this is the first year it has flowered. We were so happy when we saw yellow flowers.

Question about lilies. I was given two lilies. One actually bloomed last week after being in my new pond only a week or so. It would open in the morning and close at night. Now today it is totally gone. I know nothing about lillies. Is tha what happens, they only last a few days or how else did it disappear?

Fertilizer, you have to use it. They'll bloom all summer, with new buds coming up constantly when you use it

I grew up in Westchester, Valhalla to be exact, moved to Mahopac a few years ago, better property here for the money.

Yup. Each bloom lasts a few days and then sinks down under the water (unless you pull or cut it to keep it from decaying in the pond). More will follow.
