This is my first year with lilies and they have done great. It is just beginning to cool off here, lows in the 50's at night. But my lilies look so good. My question is when do I cut off all the pads? Wait until they get cold and look bad or do it before they go downhill in cold weather? I can lift the pot out of the pond to trim them back. So when do I do the job?
Thanks

Totally up to you @BarbO . I generally just do mine when I have a nice day to be working outside, and yes, many times I'm cutting off nice green pads or even buds that haven't opened yet. Last year I even had pads come up after I had cut them back because we had some nice warm days in November.

In your climate zone I would wait until they look bad. Yours might keep blooming for another month.
