I'll post some pics of them when they grow up. I don't see the parents much anymore since the water has cooled down and it has gotten cloudy due to the bottom getting stirred up

I have tiny ones that have changed to oj/white and solid oj and then I have big ones that haven't changed from black yet at all. I just can't figure why some change so early and others take forever :confused:

I really do wish some would stay the black color but seems like eventually they all turn oj or white/oj or plain white. Has anybody here ever had any that have stayed black for over 2 years or more?

People have mentioned fish staying black, not sure if they were koi or goldies.

Yes I've seen Koi that stay black I believe but never really noticed any goldfish staying like that . I'd love to have some Shubunkins cuz the colors are really nice on them. Only thing is I've heard they like to jump a lot and might end up fried outside the pond
