Says this happened in Pa. not Virginia so maybe closer to @addy1 and one monkey still on the loose!

Sad indeed. I believe they were getting sent to a lab, most likely to be tested on and tortured until use takes their lives. Apparently they were only babies too, around 3 pounds. Poor guys are probably scared and confused, if not already frozen and dead.
