How would that even be possible?Time for protection of them getting in there!
Ya, I guess a big part of building the pond in the first place was to attract wildlife. I’ve got to admit though, I had no idea they swim. I saved video of them actually swimming out to the lilies. LolSorry about your plants, but they are adorable little bandits.
I had to put a small wire fence around my pond and then attach the wide weave netting that hung down to the fence. Had to add more wire to the fence as there were gaps big enough for them to maybe squeeze through. Then I had to put some short flat small boards in area's they liked to enter in the most. The boards had small tack nails pointing up so if they stepped on them it would be painful but would not injure them. This all worked and no raccoons for years now and no herons either!How would that even be possible?
