Went out this am and found this. lol Dont think he was gonna get this meal eaten. Went and got my camera and after a couple pics. I guess I scared him off cause he let go of the frog and hurried off into my flowers.

Its a bull snake. Not sure what the proper name is. First one Ive seen in the yard this year. They can get quite large but harmless. Hope he doesn't decide to go swimming and make a meal of my fish. :eek:

I couldn't get a good size reference except for the blades of grass, thinking that was a bullfrog, thought the snake was bigger than what I thought of as a garter snake -- didn't realize how big they can grow! Pretty snake!

That's why he's so big................he has big ideas! This one just didn't quite work out for him. I think he will go far in life :rolleyes:
