have lost a total 5 fish in the last two weeks a big one to day and looks like another on its way
see photo s below on left is tap water
right is pool water with a swimming pool tester is the same
pond is aprox 4.0 mts x 4,0 mts x .800 mts deep concrete pool above ground with nexus easy pod filter and a home made pre filter with uv light have 3 airstones going
air temp 50f 10 c
pool temperaure is 53f 13c
i have just done a strip test from OASE
nitrat 25
nitrit 0
gh 21d
kh 7
ph wert 7.4
ch 0

Rayscasa, in the last picture, what is the vial on the left measuring? Is it chlorine?
Do you use straight tap water for your pond?

Also, what chemicals have you added to your pond?

it is for chlorine but i added tap water to the one on the left and pond water to the right and then added the solution for ph 6 drops in each
regarding adding tap water yes
treatment i put anti toxins in the water about two weeks ago
and i did add some stop algae

Chlorine in tap water is a poison for fish, it will burn their gills.
You should be either treating the tap water before it goes into the pond or treat the pond water before you add the tap water.

Algae is good for your pond. It helps purify the water, but too much algae can cause problems.

What chemicals exactly did you put in your pond?

treatment i put anti toxins in the water about two weeks ago
and i did add some stop algae
should the fish be laying at the bottom is it ammonia or what
its doing me head in

i did two weeks ago empty 25 % of the water cleaned the filters etc as i did have a bit of foaming
then the next day put the anti toxins in to stop the amonia ,
i have pulled a lot of the algae out but still the same problems fish at the bottom they do move about a bit but some are laying on there backs even

Chemicals put in ponds only add to the problem and does not solve anything it just makes it go from bad to worse .
