correct type of plastic to use for large tanks

Need to make a larger tank for fish wintering inside. Please advise on what type of plastic barrels or containers I could buy which would be safe for my fish. LDPE or HDPE and what numbers from 1-7 is the safest.

you can get them cheaper, but just wanted to show you... i raise koi fry in them every year. and they're better than tubs if you have the room!!
