Hi how do you cover your pond to save your fishes from the predators like Heron, cats, fallen leafs etc. I do have some plants that grows taller, in the summer so it has to be a raised ones. Currently I have a self made raised cover made out of plastics and a net. But they breaks every year and maintaining a pond is too cumbersome. Any simplified method would be appreciated.

Thanks

I just put a wide weave net over mine about 2-3 feet over the water. Keeps the herons out. I don't have leaves to worry about. A few get in but not many
