The li'l snots have eaten my Iris, and Bog lily. At least they waited until they were about to go dormant anyway.

They snack on everything in my yard and LOVE the lily leaves.

They luckily don't cause too much trouble in my yard, except for my young trees. I have chicken wire around the trees, but now that the trees are taller than it, they just chew it down to the height of the chicken wire. I keep losing a year's worth of tree growth. :(

They munch our emerald greens down in the winter, eat the lilies in the summer and everything else. The bucks attack the trees, so I protect any smallish trees.
I let them do what they want, only protect a few plants.

Don’t mind the deer nibbling on things..... don’t mind the racoons raiding my garbage can (since I have learned how to raccoon proof it)..... don’t mind the squirrels and raccoons raiding my bird feeder.... critters gotta eat.... Don’t even mind the non poisonous snakes that hang out in my yard, who with our cat keeps the Vole population in check...... but those “DARN”..... Armadillo’s is the most destructive creature on earth..... I know they only want the earthworms but they will lay waste to your garden to get them

My dogs keep the deer away now. We used to have a path the deer would take right behind the house, but they stay away cause of dogs. I know they’ll be back, and I hope they never decide my pond is more than a free drink!
