Dove nesting

STill have several doves nesting while most of the other birds are done nesting. This Dove is in my peach tree and she does not mind the attention. I was with in a foot and a half of her to get the shot.

Great picture. I read that if you bother Mourning Doves too much they will leave the nest with eggs or babies still in it. We still have chipping sparrow laying eggs.

They can but went mess much at all with them. I like to take photos every now and then. They get use to it.

Neat photo.........love the doves! They are so easily spooked here and startles me at times w/ the noise their wings makes out of the blue when you don't even know they are there. Sounds like a boomerang coming at ya! Not that I've had too many encounters w/ boomerangs.............but you get my drift :rolleyes:
